Aluminium  Class 1 extension ladders are the strongest commercial ladders available and are idea for use in an industrial environment for use by professional tradesmenÂ
These ladders are made from rigid box section aluminium stiles with large comfortable d-shaped serrated rungs preventing slips on the treads, with secure non-slip grip with all round PVC moulded feet at both ends. They also feature wall running wheels interlocking stiles and rope operation makes extension smooth and provides extra strength. For safety automatic gravity latch ensures fail safe locking
They can be purchased in two available types, double and triple, depending on your requirements and are generally designed for regular heavy trade use.
Aluminium  Class extension 1 Ladders are manufactured in England and certificated to British safety standards BS 2037 class 1 industrial and the hewitts range are probably the strongest commercial ladders available and are ideal for the professional tradesmen
These Ladders are easy to handle yet incredible rigid in relation to the weight and have a duty rating of 130kg and a maximum permissible load of 175kg. It is important that this load is not exceeded for safety reasons.
There are a number of accessories available to buy that complement Aluminium Trade Extension Ladders. The ladder standoff bracket is designed to keep the top of the ladder 300mm away from walls assisting when painting, glazing or use during general maintenance, and can give extra stability to the ladder. Articulated solid rubber moulded safety rocker feet can be fitted as an optional extra and are designed to enhance grip and stability on ladder footing. Ladder rack clamps ensure ladders are kept securely in place when transporting your ladders on either a car or van roof top, and finally ladder stoppers which are a unique rubber based platform that greatly increases the footprint of the ladder and prevents the base of the ladder from slipping.
It is important to purchase the correct sized ladder for the job and it is essential to remember that an additional 3 to 4 rungs is necessary above the gutter line to ensure safe climbing off and on the ladder if required to do so.
